Jive/Zomba recording artist Britney Spears announces her sixth studio album, Circus, set for release December 2nd. The first single from the album is titled “Womanizer” and was produced by the up-and-coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders. The album release date coincides with Spears’ birthday.

Despite reports that the comeback kid’s new album wasn’t going to drop until the end of the year, the singer’s music label, Jiva/Zomba, announced Monday that the disc will now be released Dec. 2—which, as all Britniacs know, also happens to be her 27th birthday.
“Womanizer,” the first single off Circus, will hit radio airwaves Sept. 22.
